Sir, —Sir. Henry J. Tumor, of Wanganui, is evidently quite capable of filling your paper with his paper twaddle, but the gold for you out of it would havo but little glitter. If paper has such efficacy and gold is no good, why has tho country of tho successful assignat piled up tho biggest gold reserve in tho world, and why had the land of tho green-back to draw on that gold to save it from its financial difficulties?—! am, etc., HENRY BODLEY.
