♦ — CARPENTER'S SHOP DESTROYED. CBI TELtaiIAPn—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Invercargill, March 9. James Ashley's carpentry shop in Yarrow Street was destroyed by firo this morning. Besides tools, three bicycles wero lost. The property was insured in the United Office for £100, and the loss is estimated at £150. END OF A MOTOR GARAGE. Last evening a motor garage in Staiford Street, owned by Nalder and Burnett, was completely destroyed by fire. , Besides tho stock two motor cars, valued at £600, wero burnt. Tho building was owned by M. O'Mecghan. Tho burnt portion, was insured for £408 in tho Royal. Olio Siddeley car was insured for £600 in the Royal, one Stuart car for £300, and the interior stoek and plant for £400, both in tho National. Nalder and Burnett's tonncau, and a Siddeloy car owned by T. B. Onrrick, woro uninsured. All woro destroyed.
