Tho weather has been dry oMate, but, despite this, the grass in the Nireaha district is plentiful and beautiful|y green. Dairyfarmers aro consequently doing exceptionally well. On this day last year tlio Nireaha Co-operative Dairy Company received only 900 gallons of milk, \esterday no less than 2100 gallons wero received. Many farmers in the district aro now- securing an excellent sccond crop of hay. Land agents in this district report that thcro aro steadily increasing inquiries for land here, as it is cheaper, in proportion to quality, than is easily obtainable elsewhere.
