Atkinson and Co., writing under date March 6, report a good yarding ol pigs of fair quality, and a large entry of poultry, fruit, and general produce at' their last week's Feilding &ale. Pigs sold at rates about on a par with last week's quotations, porkers selling well. Fruit all round mado rather better value. Poultry sold , remarkably- well. Large consignments of peaches and pears havo again came to hand too late for Friday's auction. This necessitates selling during the week at prices considerably below Friday's auction value.
