KARORI GOLF CLUB.

4 I" . .ANNUAL MEETING The annual general meeting of members of the Karori Golf Club was held on Thursday evening last. Mr. T. Brodie was in the chair, and there was a largo attendance of members. The election of officers for the , ensuing year resulted as-follows:—Captain, Mr. J. H. B. Coates; lion secretary, Mr. G. 0.,-Sutton j hon. treasurer, M;- Geo Shand; hon. auditor, Mr. P. C. Hjorring; committee, Messrs. T. Brodie, E. A. Lidd'e, Thos Ward, and P. C. Freeth. A vote of thanks was accorded Mr.E. A. Lidrile, the retiring lion, secretary, for tho excellent services rendered to the club. It was resolved that tho name of the club be altered to "The Miramar Golf Club," also that tho annual subscription be increased to two guineas for men and ono guinea for ladies. The meeting decided that it be a recommendation to tho incoming committee that the lady members be allowed to play on Saturdays excepting competition days. . A further recommendation was made to the effect that the membership of the club be increased by a limited number. ! Trophies were presented as follow:—The cap- ' taints (Mr. Brodie's) trophy for the club championship, won by Mr. F C. Freeth; and Mr. 1 J. It. B. Coates s trophy, won by Mr. H. G. Didsbury. '
