Luto,'M.P, ; occupied the chair, and made a row remarks suitable to the occasion. The sum of £40 (approximately) was realised by the sale of tickets and by collecting boxes carried by those who sold tickets. The performers included .Misses Churchward, Easson, and Moxham; Messrs. L. Fell, 0. Jerusalem, -F.-Twiss, and F. Wood. The visitors from Wellington were entertained by tho ladies of the local committee; and the programmo was arranged by Mr. Loslio Fell, of Johnsonville.
