Tho passengers by the British schooner Lady Kensington—whioh, with passengers and crow, was seized by the Venezuelan authorities —have been released. Tho authorities allow each of them 20 cents daily with which to buy necessaries. An escaped sailor describes them ae.penniless and friendless. Tho sohooner was seized while it was lying becalmed off the coast of Venezuela, and the passengers and crew were imprisoned. Apparently tho seizure was made in pursuance of a deoree of President Castro prohibiting trade between Venezuela and the British island of Trinidad, from which the schooner hailed. The British Minister at Caracas is making inquiries.
