Cattle: Shorthorns 39, Hereford 20, Aberdeen Angus 6, Ayrshires 36, Jersey 54, dairy 38, fat cattle li. Sheep:' Lincol'ns 48, Romney 193, English Leicester 69, Border Leicester 32, Downs 133, Eoscommon i, farmers' classes and fat sheep, 42. Pigs 65, poultry 93, art and industrial photography 35, technical and public schools 625, noedlework 155, home industries 170. In the ring competitions entries for the first day total 88, of which 46 belong to the maiden hunters' competition. For the second day there are 90 ontries, and the hunters' competition is again much in evidence with 22 entries. This competition is for lady riders only, and is sure to be watched with interest. Of the total 30 also belong to the leaping competition, which commences at 3.30 p.m. On the third day the entries reach a total of 95, of which 40, are for the champion hunters' competition . There is a total of 273 entries for horse competitions alone. Another feature at the Manawatu Show is the Manawatu Kennel Club Dog Show, and their entries are excellent in every way. and nuinbor 300.
