Morocco, Ootober 23, ' Owing to a taunt, to the cffect that the Sultan's troops were unpaid, 400 of tho garrison at Mogador, on the west coast, attaoked 200 European-trained native police. , Firing continued for an hour. Several of the oombatants were killed or wounded. Eventually the outbreak was quelled, and, under a French threat, tho garrison was subsequently shipped to Tangier.
