AMATEUR CROSS-COUNTRY CUP. A couple of races were run at Miramar on Saturday afternoon, under the auspices of the Wellington Amateur Athletic Club. Results were as follow: — Four-mile Cross Country.—H. Tempest (IgOsec.) 1, H. T. Thompson (135 sec.) 2, C. Lamberg (135 sec.) 3. Also started: W. Press (scr.), F. Hilton (scr.), W. B.
