In reply to questions asked in the House of Commons by Lord' Edmund Talbot (Unionist member, fop'Chichester'division of Sussex), and Mr..Wm. Redmond (Nationalist member for East Clare), Mr. Asquith, ■ Prime Minister, stated that the Government would be unable to give facilities to any measure not wholly uncontrovorsial, but would bo prepared to fully consider any proposals to relieve the Roman Catholio or any other religious denomination of any disabilities causing a practical grievance. The Government would not give. a day for discussion of the Government's ac'tion with reference to the Eucharistic procession, unless the Leader of the Opposition asked for it.
