HARD ON THE PATIENT.
An English paper prophesies the' disappearance of the nurses' becoming uniform; When a ddress reform is it is,, it points out, always the headgear that; is first attacked. Tlnis the hatless brigade lias come into existence; that "the "topper'.' has fallen under -condemnation, " that the picturesque "granny" bonnet was Held to be unsuitable for little girls, and now the neat and beeoni; ingi bonnet which for so long; has been so distinct a feature -of, the nurse's uniform; aro to be superseded by tho undraped: "mushroom" hat. 'Without, going into the' hygienic' aspcct, of tho case, one may. at least say that' it is hoped this -is. not- the thin edge; of ! a wedge-that'will ultimately drive out'the entire "uniform of the: professional liurse, which is pretty, and gives-her calling an air of dig-' nity.
