TRIANGULAR MATCH. N On Monday evening, teams representing tho Wellington Engineer Volunteers, W. and J. Staples and Co., aiid the Wellington Gas Company fired a triangular morris-tubo match at Mount Cook Drillslied, for a shield manufactured from a composition of bronze, copper, and white metal by a member of tho staff, of the Gas Company. The shield, which is somewhat unique in appearance, is on view at Turner's, Cuba Street. The match was won by the Engineers, with' 349 points, the Gas Company running close with 348, and Staples's team finishing third with 335. The scores, detailed, were:— Engineers.—Scrgt.
