Will the Government try to meet the financial situation they have created in such a way as to prejudice as little as possible the cause of Freetrade ? If we are asked whether we think it possible to get an extra sixteen millions a year without jeopardising the cause of Freetrade, we say frankly that'wo do not think it is; and therefore we consider this Government to be tlio worst foes of' the Froo trade pause.—"Spectator."-
