Mr. H. Greig, president of the New Zealand Flaxmillers' Association, left for Wellington on Saturday, to attend the meeting of the. New Zealand Employers' Federation. A daughter of Mr. Kelsbie burnt horself rather, badly in tho wash-houso fire on Monday morning. A little boy named Tasman broke his leg above'tho knee on Sunday afternoon. Mr. F. W. Denton, chemist, attended to the fracture, and tho boy was taken to Palmerston North Hospital on Monday morning. Messrs. J. R. Stansell, J.P., and T. Lind went to Wellington on Monday morning to interview the Prime Minister about erecting a new' post office and a now Court houso for the town.
