In the Federal Houso of Representatives, replying to "a question, Mr. Dsakin (Primo Minister) stated that correspondence was proceeding between tbo Commonwealth and .tho New Zealand Governments with reference to New Zealand charging higher duties on goods imported to Australia, and then exported to New Zealand, than on similar goods imported direct to New Zealand.
