COMING DISESTABLISHMENT CON- - ' TERENCE. ■ Tho Liberation Society is to hold an im« portant. conference in November next in connection with'<an. ; "active autumn -campaign which is_ to be pursued with the object of again bringing the question of Disestablishment into prominence. The conference is to bo hold on Thursday, November 12, in tha Westminster. Palace Hotel. There will bo two sessions, the morning being devoted to the consideration of tha subject of the bearing of the principle of Disestablishment. upon Christian unity and social progress, and. tho afternoon'to tha question of the Disestablishment of tho Ang. lican Church in Wales. In tho evening a publio meeting. is to be held at tho City Temple. - . Primarily the conference will be represent tative of-tho members of the Liberation Society, who now number over 12,000, but representatives will also be present from "tha many societies that are working for the realisation of the largo idea of the Christian Church and the abrogation of all laws and usages .which inflict- disability or confer privilege on ecclesiastical grounds." With regard to tho campaign of propaganda work the Liberation Society, in its_ official publication, remarks: "Tho truth is, Disestablishment has again to be made a vital factor iii tho religious and political life of England. This will not be lost sight of iu tho coming campaign. A largo part of tlis emphasis of tho campaign will rest upon it, and Liberationists will not forget that tlia time for reform is never, ripe till it is mado ripe."
