Mr. Bruce Smith withdrow his amendment to tho effect that Parliament, which has sat in Melbourne since May 9, 1901, should continue to assemble there until a period of ten years has been, completed, and that then for ten years it should meet in Sydney, tho final choice of a sit-o being deferred until 1921. Mr.; Bruce Smith saw that there was no possibility of his amendment being oarried. NOT DALGETY ALONE. AN AMENDMENT CARRIED. (Ree. October 2, 1.3 a.m.) Molbourne, October 1. The House carried an amendment, by 26 votes to 19, declaring that an opportunity should bo given to discuss other sites besidos Dalgety.
