CHARGE AGAINST A STREET PREACHER. {BT TEtiEGßlrn. —SPKCIAt OmuESrONDENT.) Dunedin, September 29. The charge (heard last Friday) against Daniel Evans, street preacher, for obstructs ing footpathß in Princess Street and Moray Place, was dismissed to-day by Sir. Widdowson, who said lie was satisfied that defendant was not tho cause of the crowd collecting, or of the obstruction. _ He reminded the defendant that it was his duty-to consult tho police as to tho place where he should stand.
