Bridge, M. Burnett, J. S. Robertson,- L. Cozens, -J. M. Hogben, L. .Teutenberg, B. Guise, hoii sec.. .The only business outside of somo routine matters was the submission of the following circular letter to delegates oij centres-of ■ clubs affiliated to-the N.Z. Association: — "As you. are doubtless aware, the right of nomination arid election of members of the council of the N.Z.A.A.A. is, under the new rules of the association, taken from tho centres (is corporate bodies, and vepted jn tlio individual delegates on the various centres of clubs affiliated to tho N.Z.A.A.A. "At a reeeqt.meeting of tho delegates comprising tho "Wellington centre the following motion was agreed to, viz.'We, tho undersigned delegates of tho amateur athletic, clpbs resident in Wellington do hereby agree to nominate Messrs, W. F. Larkin, F. Ross, A. Davios,. W. Coffey, 13. A• Da\yson, A. Mfiri-yatt, arid W. H. Pollock (residents of Wellington) for seats on the council of tho NiZ.A.A.A.' , • "Tho delegates agreed to nominate these gentlemen' firstly becauso it was felt that they would endeavour to carry out tho wishes of the centres a? expressed at the last conference of'• centres,• and • secondly because it was folt that the time had arrived when the headquarters of the Association should be removed from Christchurch to Wellington. It is suggestod'that'the. delegates comprising the" centre in your district should nold a meeting as' sooir as possible and forward their views on the matter to Mr. J. W. Hoe nan (care of Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington) who is acting as secretary to tho Wellington delegates, As nomiiir ■ ations close with the secretary 'of the council 'on October 8, it is requested that your replies to this letter bo posted go as to roach Wellington not .later than October 6. ' "Wo, the undersigned, hereby agree to our nomination for seats on tho council of tho N.Z.A.A.A. and, if elected, agree (inter alia) (1) To support tho removal of the headquarters of the N.Z,A,A.A. from Cllristohurch to Wellington. (2) To arrange for an annual conference, at tho .place' where the championship - meeting is being held, with the delegates of affiliated centres.
