The counter for letter-delivery, sale of stamps, and for registration will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.- Parcels Department, Brandon Street, from 8 i.ni. to 10 a.m. Country mails 'will closo in the morning, only at the usual time. Mails for steamers leaving during- the day will close at 8.30 a.m. There will be one' full delivery only by letter-carriers, closing at the Chief Post Office at' 7.45 a.m. The next best dispatch for Canada and United States of 'America 'will bo via Vancouver, closing at Wellington, per Manawatu train, on Tuesday, September 29, at (5.30 a.m. Mails for llarotonga, Tahiti, and Penrhyn Islands closo at Auckland, per Navua, on. Tuesday, September 29, at 10.45 a.m. All books and sample-packets and newspaper? for places within the Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter-mail closes.
