" The Fruit Brokers' Conference yesterday decided ito ■ form a New Zealand Fruit Brokers' Association. Mr. ii\ Townoend, Wellington, was appointed president, and Messrs. E. B. Bristow, W. Brown, and W. J;' Thompson. Wellington, wero elected a committee, which, with Messrs. C. T. Paters'on, 'Dunediij, Gr. D. ' Macfar'ane,. Christchurch', ,E .B. M'Kay, Invercargill, and A. Tooman, Auckland (subject to the Auckland local association's confirmation), were , appointed a central executive, committee with power to add to their number, four to form a'-i quorum. ■■, ;
