When Father Doyle mentioned tho recent action of Archbishop Bourne in sending Father Vaughan to tho Mission Houso to prepare for.the work in England, tho Cardinal said: "Tho project commends itself to me as a most feasible and practical way of putting now life into tho movement for the conversion of England. Tho choice of Father Vaughan for tho work is a most happy one. I know him well, and ho has all tho qualities that aro most apt to secure tho best results. To Father Vaughan has fallen tho providential role of carrying to ultimate success the projects of his uncle, tho Cardinal. Ho is a Vaughan, and he has inherited tho qualities of mind and heart that will insure success in tho work."
