OUTLOOK IN PAHIATUA.
During the early part of the week (says our- Pahiatua correspondent) tho weather lias been overything that could be desired at this time of tho year, and in a dairy-farming district such as this. Although somewhat gusty, at times, a fair quantity of rain has fallen which, alternated with fine warm days, has brought pasturage on rapidly, and the country round about is looking tit to bring'joy to tho' heart of tho milker. Tho greatest bulk of tho cows are now in, and dairying operations may now practically bo said to be in full swing. This should provo a blessing not only to the farmers themselves, but to the townspeople, too, and should help to relievo a certain amount of depression that has been folt throughout tho past fev.' months.
