"' It was resolved that the. objects of the. as"-' sociation be; —(a) To promote physical edu-' cation in tho schools'of Wellington city" and suburbs. It was decided that letters bo written' to tlio newly-formed Headmasters'.'Association' and tlio Technical School BoarcKisliing' that;' all school matches bo played on- school afternoons, and pointing out that' siieh' a" system obtains in the schools of Victoria' and Now' South Wales. In support of ; this Messrs.' Hemplcman, Panning, and Binning were'appointed delegates to wait on: the' ' Headmasters' Association at its "next meeting. '' Tlio conference then broke "up, wjtli''instructions to delegates to report to their several bodies, after which a general" nie'et-' ing will bo held at an early date."'
