THE DAIRY REGULATIONS.

A number of dairy farmers hold a meeting in the Mangatainoka Library Hall on Tuesday night (says our correspondent) to discuss the merits of tho new dairy regulations. It was pointed out that although some of the clauses were eminently desirable, others were far too drastic, and would probably mean the ruin of the smaller man, who could • not,\ under oxistirig circumstances, afford to carry out removals of dairying sheds and other alterations, which would be matlo compulsory. It was decided to protest against tho regulations, and 'a committee was formed to draw up the protest which is to be forwarded through the local member.
