Russian advices', dated August G, state \liat up to that date there had been, in the Govern-, ment of Astrakhan;i 105'cases-of cholera,''of which 4Q.proved •fa.tal.: -In Tarizyn, up;to August 3, there were 118 cases l .of cholera, of which G5 proved fatal. In Saratoff, up to A4gust 1, there were 18 cases and four deaths. Cholera had also broken out in the gaol.at Rostoff on the Don, where two cases, one of which ended fatally, had occurred among the prisoners, while a solitary case had. lleen registered at Sisran. Elaborate precautions were being taken at Kieff, including the establishment of floating hospitals. Notwithstanding, the disease must have spread at a great rate to give the total of deaths as cabled above.
Cholera in the Philippines is attacking the United States troops. There have been four deaths at Camp Gregg, which is under quarantine.
