SOMERSETSHIRE PUDDING. Make a cake mixture with the weight of three eggs in butter, sugar, and flour by creaming the butter, and sugar, and beating the eggs into it. Then add tho grated rind'of half a lemon or some almond flavouring. Next stir into it the flour, which should liavo baking powder and salt mixed with. it. Bake this mixture in cups. A sauce with the lemon juice, sugar, and water, slightly thickened with cornflour, may be served with this pudding. It is simply made—i.e., make a strongly flavoured hot lemon drink; mix tjvo teaspoonfuls of cornflour with cold water; stir it into-the sauce; boil' a few minutes; colour with saffron or. cochineal; * and serve. • • EOR TO-MORROW.
