Tho court of marine inquiry has given its decision in the case of the Colac-Pareora decision, which occurred on August 29 inside Sydney Heads. The Parcora, recently purchased by tha Southern Coal Owners' Agency from tho Blackball Coal Company of Now Zealand, was outward bound at tho. time, and tho Adelaide Company's cargo steamer Colac was coming up the harbour. , Both steamers were badly damaged, and wore docked. The Court found that the collision was duo to Captain Joliflo (master of the Colac) steering a wrong course, and to Captain Downie (master of the Parcora) starboarding when a collision was imminent. Both captains are called upon to show cause why thoir certificates should not be dealt with,
