SUFFOCATED.
$ FUMES OP BURNING COALS. (by TELEGRAPH—PRESS association—copyright.) (Rec. September 10, 1 a.m.) Adelaide, September 9. Two brothers named Loughlin were suffocated by gaseous fumes at Caltowie (148 miles by rail north of Adelaide). Their mother placed an open pan of burning coals in their bedroom to warm it. All outlets were blocked.
