4 WAJEARAPA LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. Tile ladios' championship of this club was played during last week'in beautiful weather. Miss Lucy Brandon of Wellington won the championship, beating Mrs. W. E. liidwill, by 6up aud 5 t-o play. Tho winner played excellent golf right through tho meeting and ought to stand a good chance for tho New Zealand championsihp in Dunedin next month. The other events were won by tho following ladies Driving, Mrs. H. Holmes 167 yds.; approaching and putting, Miss D. Monckton; medal match, Mrs. G. Hume; putting, Miss D. Monckton; bogov, Mrs. G. Hume. The Red Dot Professional Ball was much' in ovidenco at the recent championship held in Sydney last week. All tho Australian and Now Zealand champions played with tho Ked Dot Professional. This hall does not lose its shape, and will not crack or burst. Wo recommond it to tho uso of all Golfers. Tho Rod Dot Professional Ball,' the Golf Ball with a chemical centre. CBOO
