C. Buchanan's offer of £6000' for an experiment farm for the district. It is considered- that Mr. Buchanan's offer, which has now practically been before the Minister for Agriculture for the past twelve months, is one of the'most munificent over made to any district, and that the Wairarapa local bodies , and other organisation's- will -be, .wise in bringing''.{ill their influence to bear upon the Minister to view 1 the proposal with a more favourabla eye than he is doing at present.
