MELROSE FOOTBALL CLUB.
Tho Melrose Football Club held a dinner on Friday night in Godber's Rooms. A good musical programme was submitted, ana an enjoyable evening was spent. ~ During it.ho evening a presentation was made to Mr. B. Warick, which took tho form ■of a splendid photograph of the senior'fifteen. Mr. A. Fulford occupied the chair. 1 The following toasts wero proposed:—"The King," Mr. A. Fulford, responded to by M. S. Brown; "Referees' Association," Mr. C. Campbell, and responded to by Messrs. Council, Siovas, and Howo; "Melrose Football Club," by Mr.'Brown, and responded to by Messrs; J. Spencer and G. Spencer; "Our Coachj Mr. W. Gilchrist," was proposed by. Mr. D. M'Konzio, and responded to by Mr. D. Gilchrist; "The Third Class Team," by Mr. 11. Burke, and responded to by Mr. Marchmont; "Our Junior Team," by Mr.Gilchrist, and responded to by Mr. M'lnuisa arid "Tho Press," by Mr... Fulford. Tho following contributed musical items< Messrs.
