SHEEP DEALING.
A Martinborough sheep farmer informed our Wairarapa correspondent that the cheapness of sheep compared with their prices a year ago—th 6 difference is said to be approximately 9s. per head—was stimulating speculative trade. Last year sheep were at a price which made it risky to buy them. Some dealers took the risk, and t'len followed a slump, and the drought. .
