In a case before the High Court of Justice ill London recontly Professor M'Fadyean, principal of the Royal Veterinary College,' affirmed that in England no less than 20 per cent, of the adult cattle were affected to some extent with tuberculosis. In New Zealand tho Chief Government Veterinarian, Mr. J. A. Gilrutb, has estimated the number of tuberculous dairy oows at 10 per cent., but' in some representative tests tho .percentage of disease was found to bo 25 per cent.
