The-links were in good order, and thero was a large-number of competitors, 'from both Islands. Mrs.' Bovan (Otaki), with 91, 8, 83, reduced tho ladies' record for the course from 100. • ■ The following ladies qualified for the ladies' championship, which will be played to-day:— Airs. Bevan (Otaki), 91; Miss Beatson' (Hastings), 95; Mrs. Annes (Manawatu), 95; Mrs. Winterburn (Otaki), 99; Miss D. Symes (Christchurch), 100; Miss Cave (Wanßanui), 101; Miss D. Hindmarsh (Napier), 102; Miss Monro (Manawatu), 105; Miss Hamlin (Napier), 105; and Miss U. Williams (Wellington),' 105.
