Alexander Aitken was charged 'with, in- ' decency on the' Korokoro Road, a&Pwis I '' sentenced to one month's imprisorimebt.. Mr., Cracroft Wilson defended the accused. The members of the Silverstream Liberal Club held a social at McnsVs Hall on Wednesday ovening in honour of I club's chapi-' lain (Rev. Cecil Smith), who' is shortly leaving for Othki. During Mr. Smith's ro- ' sidcncq in the Hutt Valley ho has become exceedingly popular. Mr. Smith was made the recipient of a handsome case of pipes and a silver-mounted match-box.
