At the Colosseum .Rink at Christchurcli on Saturday liight'ttifj. AVollington representative polo team mot- and defeated tho Canterbury rops (before a largo and enthusiastic audience) by three goals to one. In the first spell Canterbury attacked well and registered the only goal scored in tho first half. On changing ends tho Wellington team, playing with better combination than thoir opponents, scored threo goals in quick succession, tho gamo ending with the winners attacking strongly, thus making tho second win for Wellington against Canterbury this, season. Tho Canterbury team comprised H. Davis (captain), 0. Davis, G. Picrcy, L. Ballin, C. East, and R. Barnett. Wellington was represented by E. D! Beniiett (captain), F. Crowes', : M. Kcegan, A. I'atcrson, J. Reese, and A. 11, Ragg. Tho Wellington team returned by tho Mono\yui yesterday. Mr'. H. Stairmand accompanied "tho team as managor. ■■ • -•
