Weights for the First Day's Events will be declared on or about FRIDAY, 4th SEPTEMBER, 190S, and for tho Second Day's Events at tho,Office of tho Club, at 7 30 on the evening of the First Day. Acceptances for tho First Day's Events will closo with tho Secretary, at the Office of the Club, Bulls, on FRIDAY, 11th SEPTEMBER, 1908, at 9 p.m., and for the Second Day's Events at the same place at 9 o'clock on tho Evening of tho Fir.; Day. RULES. All Races to be : run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. The winner of any raco after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of Sib., of two or mora races, 101b., provided that any horso handicapped at Bst. 10lb. and over will carry only half these penalties. This rulo does not apply to Hurdle and Welter races. HURDLE' AND WELTER RACES. Tho winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71b., of two or more races lOlbs. ■ H. A.
