MEETING OF THE MANAGEMENT COM-' mittee;, A meeting of,the Management l Committee of tho Wellington Hockey Association was held last night, Mr. W. J. -Organ occupying the chair. -.•« • It was reported that the; Thames match would not be played as a team could not be got away. It was also reported that definite arrangements had b&fa made" for re-' presentative hockey matches' with ."Wariganui, Taranaki and Auckland;.'" It was decided to postpone the'championship fixtures on Saturday: next on account of the trial representative match. Tho refereo in the Karori-Wesley match (Mr. Porter) on Saturday last put in a report on the game. For commenting on tho rofereo's decisions, a Karori player was suspended for the remainder of the season. Tho Karori team was reported'for-hooting the referee, but consideration of tho matter was adjourned until Tuesday next to -enable further ovidence to be callcd.
