Y.M.C.A.

At. the Y.M.C.A. Rooms, last night the membors of tho Y.M.C.A. Hockey Club met to do honour to Mr. A. J. P. Brittain, who is about to be married. Mr. H. N. Holmes (general secretary) presided, and : in \a neat spcech congratulated tho guest and Wished him tho best of prosperity and happiness. Several others also spoke, after which the secretary of tho Club, Mr. E. H. Parton, presented Mr. Brittain, who is tho Club captain, with a set of carvers and a breadknifo and fork. Tho recipient suitably respondedj and spoke feelingly of the pleasant associations ho had enjoyed during his membership.
