Tho.rain's a tidy parlourmaid; She dusts with caro each separate blade 1 And tho high walls of tho skies, ' ' And Mother Nature, too, is wise,. And often has. a cleaning day To wash tho dust and dirt'away. On tho carpets of the fields, / Well her broom of storm she wields; , On her furniture of trees. . ■ The feather duster of the'breeze; '• Then she's ready, when that's done, . For her company, tho sun.
