Vegetable Marrow. ; Parsley Sauce. Rhubarb Puree. Boiled Rice. MOCK BISQUE SOUP. Cook a tin or a quart of tomatoes for fifteen minutes; if .the tomatoes are tinned or very ripe add i teaspoonful of soda. If fresh, cook them a little longer., Pass them'through a'sieve. Make a white sauco by melting half a cup of butter and mixing smoothly with it half a cup of flpur. Add to it a quart of milk and'stir till it boils. Boil five minutes and add the tomato that has been' sieved. Season with salt and pepper, and serve with oroutons of! fried bread or toast.
