MEDINA C.ONNECTED BY RAILWAY.' (BY TELEGRAPH —Pit ESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (Rec. August 18, 1.18 a.m.) Damascus, August 17. Tho Hedjaz railway, from Damascus, has reached Medina. Medina, second among the holy cities of Mohammedanism, was the' refugo 'of Moliammed when driven from Mecca. Tha railway, it is understood, is being built dhiefly for the benefit of pilgrims. Its ultimate destination is Mecca. It was expected to reach Medina last year.
