FIRES.

An old unoccupied racing stable at Maryborough, belonging to Mr. Tilson, was destroyed by fire at 1 o'olock on Sunday morning, according to a report received by Inspector Ellison. _ Another report received by the police advises tho destruction by fire of a threeroomed building, stock, and furniture, owned by Mr. Wm. There was no water supply, and tho building was destroyed. Tho building and stock wore insured for £100, but thero was no cover on.tho furniture* ' Tho Firo Brigade was kept busy last night attending to falso alarms, no fewer than threa being received. Tho first was at 9.20 p.m., tho corner of Victoria and Harbour Streets, tho second at 9.52 p.m., from Abel Smith Street, and the final one at 10.4 p.m., from Webb Street.
