The Nelson hockey representatives returning from Auckland spent two hours ashore yesterday afternoon, and played a match with the Poverty Biy representatives. A hockey match between Nelson and Hawke's Bay teams was played oil the Recreation Ground tliid afternoon in good weather, but on a muddy field. Hawko's Bay won by one goal to nil. Shattky hit the goal early in the first spell. Play was even in the iirst spell, but Hawke's Bay had the beet of the second. ' LADIES'' ASSOCIATION. ■ The following are thp Third Class fixtures for to-morrow:—Terrace-A-v. St. John's, on Day's Bay ground, at 2 p.m.; Roseneath v.
