There is at present a small'manufacture at the Eketahuna, Featherston, and Ballanco -factories, but not enough for : local consumption. Tho . season promises to open . well, with fairly good supplies. From a conversation 'with several butter authorities, •• it appears that the new season will commence generally early in September. .The exact dato, however, will depend •on the .feather.'
