Coro, August 12. The Minister for Lands to-da.v opened tho now Railway Station at Riversdalo, erected at a cost of £2000. In a speech, ho quoted figures showing tho groat growth of railway traffic at tho station during the last decade. On the Invercnrgill section the revenue in 1898 was £144,900; in 1907-3, £$64,337 outwards, and a corresponding increase inwards. Afterwards tho Minister was entertained at a banquet by the residents. Riversdalo will bo tho junction for the Switzers Railway. ...
