,Tho funeral of Mrs. Linsell, who died in Palmerston North, after boing operated on for appendicitis, took place last-Monday afternoon. The cortege, ivhieh was a large one and included tho Druids in regalia, testified to the esteem in which the deceased lady was held throughout tho district. Tho late Mrs. Linsell was <i Miss Gardner, and has numerous relatives in tho Shannon district.
