HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
The Wellington Hospital Trustees met yesterday morning, there being present: Messrs. R. C. Kirk (in tho chair), W. H. Ilnles, G. Nash, G. London, J. W. M'Ewan, and A. c! Pcarce. Tho return of patients was as follows Wellington Hospital: 108 males and 95 females, a total of 203 as compared with 169 for tho corresponding fortnight of last year; Victoria Hospital: 20 males and 16 females; Soddon Hospital: 15 males and 10 females. Grand total, 2G4; 1907, 267. The receipts for tho fortnight totalled £1283 14s. 7d., nnd the expenditure £681 14s. lid. The in-patients' fees for tho fortnight wore £131 lis. 4d. as compared with £87 Is. 2d, for tho corresponding period of last year. Tho out-patients' fees wero £20 18s. and £15 12s. for tho previous fortnight as compared with £15 18s, for tho fortnight ending August 10 of 1907. Thc.Houso Committee rocommonded that the resignation of Senior Nurses Bailey and Goldsmith and of Junior Nurse Staito be accepted. That a new dissecting table and two wash-hand basins bo procured for tho morgue.
